Shipping

When will my order ship?

Orders are generally shipped within 10-15 business days (unless otherwise noted on the individual product page or order confirmation email).

In-transit shipping times will vary depending on where you live. Once shipped, your order should arrive within 7 business days if you reside within the contiguous US. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may take up to 10 business days. International shipping times will vary depending on the country. Please keep in mind that for international orders, there may be additional taxes and duties to pay upon arrival of the shipment to your country.

Once your order is processed and prepared for shipment, you will receive an email with the order details and a tracking number. If you have any questions or issues, please email us at hello@nizamrugs.com and include your order number. Note that it may take up to 24-48 hours for the tracking number to appear online, but rest assured that the package is on its way!

We offer free shipping within the contiguous US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) on all orders with the exception of furniture and lighting.

Exceptions to free shipping:

For Alaska and Hawaii: Shipping costs will vary depending on the size and weight of your order. To determine pricing, add the items to your cart and our system will automatically estimate the shipping costs based on destination.

For international orders: We currently only ship our rugs internationally. Please email hello@nizamrugs.com and we would be happy to provide you with a custom quote that will include all customs and duties fees.

We’ve spent a lot of time getting the packaging of our rugs just right, with custom-made boxes designed to fit our rugs perfectly. Folding the rugs during the shipment process will not damage them. The folding action is similar to what happens when you fold a wool sweater: it may temporarily reveal some creases when you unfold the sweater, but the natural drape of the fibers will eventually resume their position once unfolded. Because our rugs aren’t synthetic, but wool, the natural fibers are resilient and will resume their flat resting position within a few days.

A major consideration we made when designing our packaging was to allow for ease of transportation from our facility and to your home. Rolled rugs mean bulkier and pricier packaging. Rolled rugs also make it much more difficult to single-handedly carry larger rugs up a flight (or many flights) of stairs. Our larger rugs come in a box with a handle so that you can easily move them, unpack them, and even repack them should you ever need to move. Smaller rugs and cushions also come in boxes that are easy to carry.

Occasionally we ship certain items rolled when their construction calls for it, like our Moroccan palm and Tuareg mats

The customer is responsible for making sure the purchased item can fit in the room of choice and can be delivered through all entry points by verifying building access and all doorway measurements.

If a purchased item is declined at delivery and returned to the Revival Rugs warehouse without going through the standard Furniture Return Process, 10% of the retail price will be deducted from the refund in addition to the $45 restocking fee.

What's your return policy?

We want you to love your purchase! For all orders within the contiguous US, we offer free returns for store credit with the exception of furniture and lighting. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with an item, you can initiate a return within 30 calendar days of receiving your full order.

You can also choose to return for a cash refund. For cash refunds we charge a return fee depending on the product type (see “How much does it cost to return?” section below for more details). Customers in the contiguous US who return rugs, textiles, and accessories to our warehouse are charged a $20 restock fee per returned item. This amount helps us partially offset the costs we incur for shipping and to have our warehouse complete the QC process as well as restock, relabel, and repackage returns.

In case of a product defect upon receipt of purchase, please email us within 7 days of receipt at hello@nizamrugs.com.

With the exception of bedding and bath, all returned items must be undamaged, unwashed, unused, retain all original tags, and be in saleable condition in order to be eligible for a refund. For bedding and bath bundles, all items must be returned in order to be eligible for a refund. All returned bedding and bath items will be donated.

Once the returned item(s) are back at our warehouse, they will be inspected by our team within 14 business days. Provided the item(s) are in as-new condition (with the exception of bedding and bath), we will issue a refund less any applicable fees. Taxes will be refunded in accordance with state laws and returns will be refunded to the original method of payment.

Return Exclusions:

  • Cushion inserts and rug pads: unless there is a product defect, we cannot accept returns on rug pads or unsealed cushion inserts for hygienic reasons.
  • Custom orders: all made-to-order products are final sale.
  • Damaged goods: we are not responsible for damage during return shipping, and items which are damaged during return shipping are not eligible for refunds.

To return rugs, textiles, and accessories:

Within the Contiguous US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii): All returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days of receiving your full order

  1. To initiate a return, visit our Returns Center page, enter your email, and click “start a return”
    1. If you choose a free return for store credit, please select “Free return for store credit” as the reason for return.
  2. After initiating a return, a prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you.
  3. Remove the original shipping label and attach the prepaid shipping label that was emailed to the original box.
  4. Drop off at any FedEx or UPS location depending on the label you receive
  5. Returned items must reach our warehouse within 14 calendar days from the time you receive the return label to be eligible for a refund.

At this time, our Returns Center is only able to generate one label per return initiated. If you have more than one box to ship back, please email us at hello@nizamrugs.com and we would be happy to send you an additional label. Please include your order number, all of the items you wish to return, and any feedback you wish to share.

With the exception of furniture and lighting, returns are free if you choose to return for store credit! If you would like to choose a free return for store credit, please select “Free return for store credit” as the reason for return when prompted in our Returns Center. Please note an automated $1 fee is noted on the return to print the return shipping label. Don’t worry though, the $1 will be credited back if you choose a return for store credit.

If you wish to return for a refund to the original method of payment, we charge a return fee which varies by item, outlined in the table below.

Shipping & Returns

It takes approximately 14 business days to inspect and process your return from the day it arrives at our warehouse. You will receive an email notification when your return has been processed and your refund has been initiated.

We don’t have an exchange process in place and recommend you go ahead and purchase the replacement item you’re eyeing as soon as possible. Many of our items are one-of-a-kind or can go out of stock quickly, so we cannot guarantee that the desired item will still be available by the time we are able to process a return refund.
